Online medical records

How it works.

Online medical records is a service that allows you to access your medical records online, and is available to those aged 16 years or above. Log in securely at 1177 Vårdguiden using an electronic form of identification.

To log in, you must first create an account with 1177 Vårdguiden’s e-services. Your care provider must also be registered to use the online medical records service.

Once logged in, you will be able to see the notes made in your medical records, the results of certain tests and diagnoses, as well as an overview of previous instances of medical care. Many care providers also make it possible for patients to read historical data, going back to 1 January 2016.

There will always be a slight delay before the notes from your latest visit will be visible in the online service. There could be several reasons for this, including a delay in the synchronisation of the medical records system and the online medical records system, and the administration of printouts, test results, etc.

If your information still hasn’t appeared after a reasonable period of time, contact your care provider.

Psychiatric departments whose target groups include people below the age of 18 years are not currently connected to the online medical records system.
